Aquarium

Pictures from our recent field trip to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center.  

                                 

They had a big tank where you could put your hand in and touch sting rays. Their stings had
been cut off.  

It felt a lot like touching wet, slimy sandpaper. 

The field trip was fun.  Around the time we were leaving the fire alarm went off.  (Perfect timing, right?) We hurried up and got out of there.  The way back home snow started, we were going very slowly on the road. It was so bad we eventually pulled over and got a hotel for the night.
